To form the imperfect subjunctive you take the preterite third person plural form of the verb.
Hablar >>> Hablaron
Dar >>>> Dieron
Conocer >>>> Conocieron
Ser >>>> Fueron
Salir >>> Salieron
Venir >>> Vinieron

Imperect subjunctive endings: ra, ras, ra, ramos, rais, ran

Hablara, Hablaras, Hablara, Habláramos, Hablarais, Hablaran

Dar:
Tu dieras, Ustedes dieran
Conocer:
Ella conociera, Nosotros conociéramos
Ir or Ser
Ellos fueran, Yo fuera
Salir
Vosotros salierais, Ustedes salieran
Venir
Tu vinieras, Vosotros vinierais

Hablase, Hablases, Hablasen, Hablásemos, Hablaseis, Hablasen

The present subjuncitve is used when the dependent clause is triggered by a verb phrase in the following tenses.
1) Present
2) Present Perfect
3) Future
4) Future (ir + a + infinitive)

1) I don't know anyone who talks like that.
No conozco a nadie que hable así.
2) I haven't met anyone who talks like that.
No he conocido a nadie que hable así.
3) I will not meet anyone who talks like that.
No conoceré a nadie que hable así.
4) I am not going to meet anyone who talks like that.
No voy a conocer a nadie que hable así.

1) I didn't meet anyone who talked like that.

4) I hadn't met anyone who talked like that.
No había conocido a nadie que hablara así.
