Como dice nurse practitioner

How do you introduce yourself as a male (female) el (la) nurse practitioner.  i've heard enfermo (a) especialista.  Is this the commonly accepted way?

thanks

Enfermero/a de práctica clínica avanzada

This is great question and there are different options. Others options are:

Practicante de enfermería, Enfermero/a practicante.

But OJO: The word "practicante" may be understood as someone who is still in traning. Therefore, I prefer the one above.

end of life

My practice is in end of life, hospice and palliative care.  I would be keenly interested in a podcast(s) on a range of sensitive topics that would include discussing Do Not Resuscitate/Allow Natural Death orders, interventions or no interventions, comfort care, death and dying of a child, spouse, parent, or friend, and expected outcome or time of death.  Your section on Lo Siento in the Greetings and other phrases was very helpful for this newbie.

mucho gracias

End of Life

This would be a great topic for me to cover as I am a practicing Internal Medicine doctor, and therefore encounter this all the time. I will do it as soon as I can. Thank you for your suggestion.
